With over 40 years experience in the printing industry, Mike understand that great work is important, but customer service is the top priority.
Mike is a technician at heart, having started his career in the printing industry at the age of 15 as an apprentice worker. Mike learned the do’s and don’ts of the trade over many years, working his way into the front office where he learned how to plan the execution of all project moving through the shop
After mastering all aspects of working in and running a print shop, Mike eventually ended up buying this very company and evolved it into the company that is Metro Printers today– a technology based print shop, with the most current machinery available, and some very capable people as well.
Kent is Metro Printers master press operator. With 40+ years experience, Kent has worked for some of the largest printers in Vancouver. Running the big machines provided him with a vast array of experience to draw on for custom jobs that Metro takes on routinely.
Having seen most issues that can arise on press, Kent is very comfortable with client press-checks and he is very open to sharing his knowledge to give the client the best chance at getting what they are after or just letting them know what is possible and what is not with honest candor. Our clients experience the extra bonus of learning a process that is very technical but most always they leave feeling very connected to the job and pleased with the visit and the result.
Coming from a family of printers, Ben has been in the trade since he was just a young boy in Taiwan. Having 30+ years experience under his belt, Ben knows the printing process inside and out. He will work directly with you, sending proofs and making required changes, ensuring your project looks exactly the way you want it.
On top of being the head Prepress operator, Ben is the technical mind behind all of Metro Printers IT systems. Truly a jack of all trades, Ben is a key component to Metro Printers and is here to assist you with all his valued expertise.
Filomena is the voice of Metro Printers – she’s the welcoming voice answering your calls. Having been in the trade for 20 years, Filomena is always there to help answer any questions you might have about your job. We like to think of her as our detail person, taking care of all the little details, to ensure that everything runs smoothly and customers are happy and well taken care of.
