Printing and Graphic Design Consultations:

Printing is what we do best. For 35 years we’ve had close relationships with designers and by exposure to their expertise and specific needs, we can offer a wider spectrum of graphic support. We would be happy to recommend a designer that will best suite your individual requirements after an initial consultation.

In-House Foil & Embossing, Bindery, Die Cutting, Scoring, etc:

At Metro Printers, our goal has been to keep as much of the printing process from consultation to finishing in house so we have the utmost control to ensure each project is completed just right for our clients.

We have a very complete letterpress shop to take care of the really special effects such as foiling, embossing, die cutting and automated glueing. And, of course, we have all the folding and binding equipment we need for almost any project that comes in the door.

Offset/Commercial Printing:

Our passion is offset printing. We print on a state of the art UV, 5 colour Heidelberg Speedmaster, complete with an inline coating unit and perfecting device to print both sides at one time. We are on the cutting edge of the industry and can handle pretty much any project you can imagine or design.

Involving us early in your project means that we can contribute our experience and knowledge on how to achieve the best possible result and really add a “wow factor” with colour and special treatments.

Digital & Variable Data Printing:

Most cost effective for small quantity orders of colour reproductions. We can produce instant business cards, brochures and marketing materials, black and white, or colour, printed directly from your electronic file.

Our Kodak NexPress ZX3300 is the top in its class for clear, vibrant and colourful digital printing. We also offer variable data with this device to help with many mailing requirements, personalized direct marketing pieces or tickets with an variable ID count.

Large Format Printing:

Looking for that extra large, high-impact display piece, that will be sure to get everybody’s attention? From Bus Shelter posters, window graphics, car magnets, vinyl banners, coroplast and foam core signs or high quality art-prints on canvas, we can take care of it all with our large format UV printer.

Our large format imaging equipment can handle jobs up to 5 feet wide and whatever length you desire and we print on a vast array of materials. The ink is UV cured for low energy requirements and environmentally friendly as there are no solvents used in the process.

Laser Printing/Engraving:

One of our most recent additions to the Metro Printers arsenal is our Universal Laser Systems: Versa Laser printer. We can laser print onto 1000s of surfaces with our non-contact and multi-process machinery.

With this engraver, we can laser cut and engrave into many different surfaces, allowing us to produce your: name badges, plaques, art pieces and sentimental objects.

Computer to Plate Workflow:

With a focus on environmentally friendly practices, we have the most advanced Heidelberg computer-to-plate imaging system available. It uses no chemicals and produces no harmful by products at all. Chemical and process-less plates..

Full Service Pre-press & Digital Proofing:

We have fully qualified pre-press technicians ready to take care of all your technical details that may arise on any given project. We also offer full G7 certified colour proofs for customer approvals.
